All-Ukraine Sponsorship Scholarship Competition
DLA Piper’s All-Ukraine Scholarship Competition for Law Students is now entering its fourth year and is a highly regarded national academic/business partnership.
In 2009 we received more than 100 applications from entrants who were required to write an essay on a subject chosen from a selection of relevant legal topics.
Applications were reviewed and evaluated by a team at DLA Piper including Sir Nigel Knowles and Margarita Karpenko, Managing Partner of DLA Piper Ukraine LLC. Respected Ukrainian legal professionals provided additional expertise to the panel.
Following this process, a shortlist of 20 semi-finalists was produced and each year the winning entrants receive a traineeship at a DLA Piper’s London office which is a great way of building strong relationships and demonstrates our one team, no border approach to CSR.
